Parent Involvement Information
How do they get involved?
We encourage all parents to take an active interest in their child's education. This is the greatest motivator for students to do well in school. Newsletters come home monthly with a list of happenings at the school. Teachers also send home classroom newsletters. Please see these newsletters for information regarding upcoming activities and events. Volunteering is encouraged. Please contact the school office at 419-332-8964. Teachers can also be contacted by email.
WATCH D.O.G.S. is an initiative to provide more positive male role models in schools for students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important. Fathers, grandfathers, step-dads, uncles, and other positive male role models can be a WATCH D.O.G. This involves a 1-day commitment for the school year in which a man spends that day helping with security and various other tasks around the school and in their child's classroom. If you know your availability and would like to sign up to be a WATCH D.O.G., please call Mrs. Opelt at 419-332-8964.
We have many activities that we need volunteers to help with. Santa Shop, Book Fair, Grandfriends Day, Academic Honors Night and Field Day to name a few.
