The curriculum is based on a core set of relevant, challenging student objectives that guide decisions about teaching and learning, and which are aligned vertically (Pre K-12), horizontally within an instructional level and systematically across the district in all content areas.

• Curriculum is developed to ensure that students have the opportunity to learn through the same core of significant objectives at a particular instructional level, from teacher to teacher and from school to school.
