Fremont Ross High School is a 9-12 building with a present enrollment of approximately 1600 students. The school offers a wide variety of programs to meet the educational needs of a diverse student population. The curriculum consists of a variety of courses based upon six (6) career clusters that fulfill the academic needs of all students. Ross students also have several "pathways" to take to achieve their goals. These would include classes at Fremont Ross, Vanguard Career Center, Tech Prep classes at the Tech Center, and Terra Community College. So flexible is the Ross curriculum that students can "mix and match" these programs to fit their career goals. Honors and AP courses are also offered in different areas, and students can earn college credits in these AP courses as well as in the Tech Prep courses and in the Post-Secondary Options Program. In addition, eligible seniors can earn credit by working or performing community service through a Board-approved early release program entitled, Work/Community Service.

Extracurricular activities at Fremont Ross range from 18 varsity sports to musicals  and include numerous (15) student-centered clubs. Ross’s booster organizations include the Athletic Boosters, the Music Boosters, and the Academic Boosters.

Student services at Ross include guidance counseling, peer mediation, nurse and clinics, speech and hearing therapist, and a school psychologist. Students are treated to great food and plenty of parking spaces. The staff totals over 90 certified and non-certified personnel.

Fremont Ross requires 21 credits to graduate along with a Career Passport.  The 2005 and 2006 graduates will need to pass all sections of the Ninth Grade Proficiency Test.   Beginning with the class of 2007,  all sections of the Ohio Graduation Test must be passed.   Click here to view a list of Ross High School’s course offerings and requirements.
