PARENT INFORMATION ON THE New ELEMENTARY REPORT CARDS Fremont City Schools has adopted standards-based report cards for students grades K-6. The indicators for each content area correlate with the Ohio Department of Education academic content standards. For each quarter of reporting, the K-2 report cards indicate the expected level of student performance with a b (beginning), d (developing), or s (secure). The grades 3-6 report cards do not indicate expected levels of performance, so the following tables are available for detailed explanation.

Parents are encouraged to review each grade level report card and expectation levels. Questions should be directed to the classroom teacher or building principal. Curriculum Maps **Note of explanation for the elementary curriculum maps The following are the 2004-2005 elementary curriculum maps in math, reading, writing and science. The maps explain for all teachers and parents in the district the content taught at each grade level and when it is taught throughout the year. For specific questions regarding these maps, please contact your child's teacher.
