Recycling fundraiser helps beat the budget crunch at Fremont City School District.

Students/members of Fremont City Schools have been earning free cash for Technology Equipment by participating in the FundingFactory Recycling Program. We started this program in December of 2001 and have been able to replace defective technology equipment in our classrooms.

Fremont City Schools has earned approximately $6000 by collecting empty printer cartridges and used cell phones. They collect empty laser and inkjet printer cartridges and used cell phones from the community and send the waste products to FundingFactory in exchange for cash to purchase the technology equipment they need in the classroom.

This is a simple fundraiser that helps subsidize Fremont City Schools budget. The program features free collection boxes and shipping, online accounting, and a business component that enables companies and individuals to collect cartridges and cell phones in support of our efforts.

Please consider collecting used cell phones and empty printer cartridges within your company to benefit Fremont City Schools.

Benefits to your company:
  - Environmentally friendly disposal of printer cartridges and cell phones
  - Community recognition for recycling efforts
  - Continual support to Fremont City Schools without extra cash donations
  - Enables employees to dispose of cartridges and cell phones from personal use

Companies interested in demonstrating a commitment to education and the environment can participate free of charge in the FundingFactory Business Support Program. FundingFactory will send each supporting business free, postage-paid shipping boxes for the return of collected cartridges and cell phones. By donating to Fremont City Schools, businesses help them earn.

Community and business supporters can also drop off cartridges and cell phones at the following locations: Fremont City Schools Administration Office, 1220 Cedar St., Suite A, Fremont, OH 43420 or any of our schools.

A list of current supporters can be found on our website, www.fremont.k12.oh.us.

A SPECIAL THANK YOU!!! In collaboration with the Eaton Inoac Company’s HR department, Sheila Rohm, Donna LaFleur and Darlene Danklefsen, over 350 letters and fliers were sent to businesses in the efforts to gain more support for this project. “TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!”
