Summer Weekend Meals Program 2018

We are proud to announce that we have been approved for the Summer Weekend Meal Program. The Ohio Food Bank, in partnership with the Governor’s Office of Faith Based and Community Initiatives, has approved 3 sites for us to be able to distribute pre-packaged meals to children in our community. The sites include Casa Nueva, Fremont Rec Center, and the YMCA. The meals include shelf stable items and will each include 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and 2 dinners. Meals will be available every Friday during the duration of the program from June 11, 2018 through August 17, 2018. Applications will be available at each of the aforementioned sites and must be completed by parents before we are able to distribute meals. Children must be present to pick up their meals each Friday during the program.
